Parker Hastings, of Richmond, Ky., has been recognized as the 2015 Thumbpicker of the Year and has been inducted into the National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame. He is the youngest musician to ever receive this award. His musical influences include Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Merle Travis as well as others.

Hastings has recently released his first EP entitled “Whimsical Smiles.” Tommy Emanuel is a guest soloist on Hasting’s arrangement of Charlie Chaplin’s “Smile.”
