A paving project is scheduled for Monday, July 25 through Wednesday, July 27,in Greenfield, according to City Manager Ron Coffey. The project areas are South Second Street from South Street to the railroad, and the 500 and 600 blocks of McKell Avenue.

Parking on the affected areas will be prohibited during working hours until the project is completed, Coffey said. It is estimated that paving will be completed by the end of the week, depending on weather conditions.

Quality Paving was awarded the bid for the paving project at a Greenfield Village Council meeting in June.

“We wish to thank everyone for their anticipated cooperation in removing vehicles from the areas affected by the paving project,” Coffey said.

Greenfield Council hopes to advertise for additional paving in the village later in the summer.
