The Southern Ohio Agricultural & Community Development Foundation has announced it is offering once again Agricultural Development Competitive Grant opportunities. The Agricultural Development Program is designed to grow an agricultural enterprise.
Tobacco program eligible producers or applicants within the nine major counties the foundation currently serves with a current Farm Service Number on record with the Farm Service Agency as of July 1, 2014 may be eligible to apply.
Approved grant awards will be up to 50 percent cost share, not to exceed $25,000. Applications, including a business plan, will be accepted for the Agricultural Development Program from Aug. 1-31, 2014 and are available at the SOACDF office, your local Farm Service Agency or online at www.soacdf.net.
