The Hillsboro Lady Indians soccer team recently traveled to Western Brown to take on the Lady Broncos in a scrimmage before the start of a new season. The Lady Indians controlled the ball for a majority of the game but Western Brown lost the game 1-0. Western Brown scored with 22:51 left in the second half after being unable to get the ball across midfield in the first half of the first period of play. The score came off a corner and a LAdy Bronco was able to get a knee on the ball and it found the back of the net for the score.
The Lady Indians will have one more scrimmage at Jackson on Thursday before opening up the season on the road August 16th against Eastern Brown.
