Three local high school teams competed in the 2014 Adam Sharp McClain Invitational last week. On the boys’ side of things, it was Hillsboro bringing home the win with a low score of 331, only one stroke ahead of London’s 332. For the girls, Logan Elm won with a 411 and Hillsboro took second with a 428.
The following are the team scores for both boys and girls:
Boys: Hillsboro, 331; London, 332; Washington Courthouse, 342; Zane Trace, 347; Adena, 354; McClain, 410; Circleville, 438;, and Whiteoak with 459.
Girls: Logan Elm, 411; Hillsboro, 428; Westfall, 463; and Zane Trace, 508.
Individually for the Hillsboro boys Autin Bagshaw led the way with a 69; Alex VanZant, 76; Michael Hassman, 98; and both Cameron Reed and Anthony Ventura with a 93.
For the Hillsboro girls, EMily Liudin shot a 95, Hannah Rumpke shot a 103, Kody Knoblauch, 110, Madi Stratton, 120, Abby Harrison, 123, Delaney Marray, 131.
For McClain boys Aaron Sharp shot an 87 followed by Alex Payotn with a 94. Brett Snavely, 98; Trenner Wile, 131; Jon Beaty and Ryan Page, 140.
McClain girls: Shania Massie, 95; Veronica Oliver, 97, andKaylee Smith , 98.
Whiteoak boys: Kyle Adams, 109; Aaron Watson, 114; Charley Skinner, 117; and Jesstin Kiley 119.
