The Leesburg Babe Ruth baseball team is off to a great start to the summer season with a 2-0 record. In its first game, Leesburg’s Hunter Dixon led the summer season off with a no-hitter, and Leesburg went on to win the game 5-0.
In its second game this past Thursday, Leesburg won with a 6-1 score over Warren Furniture. Max Conover led the team at the plate getting two of the team’s four hits.
The team’s next game will be at home June 10 starting at 6 p.m.
