A strong storm system that moved through Highland County on Sunday evening resulted in significant damage to at least one homeowner’s property.
What local residents believe to have been a possible tornado uprooted trees and caused structual damage at a home on Holladay Road just west of Hillsboro. No one was injured.
A tornado watch was in effect for much of southern Ohio throughout the evening on Sunday.
