To the editor:

I just wanted to sit down and write a few words concerning the passing of Dylan Trefz. What a tragedy, but what a blessing to see a small town community coming together as they did; it was so comforting and good.

No one will ever know the heartache the family knew, but to know how much this community came together showing the family love and support; it makes my heart proud.

Others may talk and say whatever they want about Greenfield, but this town has the most loving, caring, and compassionate individuals. I love this town and all its people. We are family, through and through, and we are all proud to call Greenfield home.

I believe God has blessed us in many ways and continues to bless us everyday. I hope and pray the Trefz family is doing well. We may not understand why these things happen, but hopefully someday we will see. May God bless Greenfield, its citizens and all outlying communities for I believe there is no better place anywhere in the U.S.A.
