Body of missing man found

The body of a Concord Township man who had been missing since April 4 was found Tuesday by the Highland County Sheriff’s Office.Kenneth A. Shafer, of the Sugar Tree Ridge community, had been missing since the evening of April 4 when he was last seen at his Concord Township home, the sheriff’s office said in a press release late last Friday. The sheriff’s office said that circumstances surrounding events on April 4 led to an investigation into Shafer’s disappearance.Shafer’s body was found Tuesday in a remote wooded area in Concord Township, a press release that was issued Wednesday by the sheriff’s office said. His body was transported to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.

 

Two men going to prison after Wednesday hearings
