1st Highland County Farm Tour Sept. 13

In an effort to introduce young farmers and others to new farming techniques and interact with them, the first Highland County Farm Tour has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13.The event is free and open to the public.Co-sponsored by the Highland County Farm Bureau and the Highland County Soil and Water Conservation District, there will be four farm stops on the tour.

The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs volleyball team picked up a huge win on Friday night against fellow Southern Hills Athletic Conference Fairfield to get their first win on the season and bring their record to 1-2 overall. A Hillsboro woman who was arrested in July following a call of a possible overdose entered into a plea agreement Friday in Hillsboro Municipal Court.The Times-Gazette previously reported that law enforcement responded to the call on East Beech Street on July 22.
