Sign-ups for the Upward Basketball and Cheerleading League, for students in grades K-6, will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the Hillsboro Elementary School (cafeteria A and B) on the following dates: Tuesday, Nov. 15, Tuesday, Nov. 29 and Thursday, Dec. 1.

The cost is $55 for cheerleaders and K-2 players, and $70 for players in grades 3-6. The fee includes a jersey, T-shirt, end of season gift, admission to all games and referee fees. Shorts or a turtleneck are an additional $15.

Practice begins Jan. 16, games are Feb. 4 to March 25, and there will be an awards ceremony March 27.

All games are played at the Hillsboro Elementary School gymnasium and each child plays at least half of every game. Practices are one night a week for one hour.

The division breakdowns are: kindergarten (coed), first and second grade boys, first and second grade girls, third and fourth grade boys, third and fourth grade girls, fifth and sixth grade boys, and fifth and sixth grade girls.
