Local fifth grade girls traveling team, the Swoosh, features Lynchburg-Clay athletes

The 5th grade girl’s team, SWOOSH concluded their basketball season in mid May. The SWOOSH compiled a record of 46 wins and 6 losses in their 2016/2017 campaign.

The SWOOSH finished in 1st place in both the Highland and Adams County youth basketball leagues, going undefeated in both leagues, as well as 1st place finishes in the Annual Whiteoak Preseason Tournament, Ohio Players 4th Annual BW-3 Super Regional, Blue Lions Shootout, Kingdom Sports Center 4th Annual Super Hero Slam, and the Greenfield McDonald’s Classic.

Lastly, the SWOOSH finished as tournament runner ups in Ohio Players 2nd Annual Indiana Pacers/Fever Super Showcase, and the Ohio Players 7th Annual Best Buy National Tournament.
