Whiteoak boys runner up at West Union Invitational

Whiteoak boys varsity cross country team battled the West Union cross country course on Tuesday against 6 other teams on Tuesday evening and came out in 2nd place. Leading the way for the wildcats was Hunter Morgan who finished 4th overall out of 59 runners with a time of 18:50. Teammate Atlee Carr wasn’t far behind as he finished 6th at 19:17. Zach DeAtley joined his running mates in the top 10 with a 9th place finish of 19:40. sealing up the 2nd place team finish were Logan Cummings and Cody Everhart with 20th and 2nnd place finishes and times of 21:31 and 21:37. Rounding out the team placing was Jacob Campbell 27th (22:24), Josh Graybeal 38th (24:12), Gavin Tebo 52nd (27:28), Gabe Sheppard 57th (32:07) and Trace Thompson 59th (34:01)

Whiteoak finished in 2nd behind Eastern Brown and 18 points ahead of 3rd place West Union. North Adams, Manchester, Notre Dame and Fayetteville rounded out the #4-#7 spots of the final scoring.
