Lynchburg-Clay travels to Sunset Bowl; beat Eastern and Fairfield

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs Bowling teams continue their early season schedule with a win over rival SHAC teams Eastern and Fairfield.

Lynchburg-Clay boys team defeated Fairfield and Eastern in a tri-match at Sunset Bowling center. This was the first match ever for the Eastern Warriors program. Final scores for the night were LC 2244, Fairfield 1655, and Eastern 1599. Leading the way for the Mustangs were Seniors Noah Fenner 233 and 196, Braydon Sellman 162, 197, and Sohomore Jonah Fenner 171, 187.

Lynchburg-Clay girls also won their tri-match with final scores of LC 1623, Fairfield 1323, and Eastern 1190. Leading the way for the Lady Mustangs were Seniors Tia McConnaughey 164, 156 and Taylor Mclaughlin 130, 126.

Both teams will compete again this Thursday at the Highland Lanes Bowling Center vs. Hillsboro, Ripley and White Oak.

Shawn McLaughlin is the head coach of the Lady Mustangs bowling team.
