Hillsboro and Wilmington baseball programs join forces to raise money for Little Hearts, Big Smiles Foundation

Hillsboro head coach Matt Garman was pleased with the overall success of the fundraising campaign by Hillsboro and Wilmington High School baseball programs.

“I’m really proud of my guys and how they and their families came together to help raise money for a local cause,” said Garman. “The Little Hearts, Big Smiles Foundation does excellent work and both of our coaching staffs couldn’t be happier to help any way we can. Unfortunately, we were unable to play the game, but baseball was of secondary importance when it comes to something like this. I would like to thank my coaching staff, Ben Miller especially, the Hillsboro Cheerleaders (special shout out to Taryn Magulac), my team, anyone who supported this cause by buying a shirt or wristband, Wilmington’s players and coaching staff for all of their work, and most importantly the men and women at the Little Hearts, Big Smiles Foundation for all the amazing work they do.”
