The Lynchburg-Clay bowling teams competed in their first matches of the season on Monday Nov. 19th at the Highland Lanes bowling center.

The final results for the boy’s match were Hillsboro 2720, Lynchburg-Clay 2380, Chillicothe 2175, and White Oak 1606.

The girls match ended with Hillsboro 2128, Lynchburg-Clay 1580, Chillicothe 1566.

The highlight of the night came from Senior Jonah Fenner from Lynchburg-Clay who bowled a perfect 300 game for his first game of the season.

This was Jonah’s first ever 300 game and the first ever 300 game for the Lynchburg-Clay program.

Jonah has been working hard ever since last summer’s State Tournament run to improve on his game and hopefully get back to the finals again this year.

Jonah has already made plans to bowl at the college level next year and couldn’t have started off his senior season with any better effort.

The entire coaching staff for Lynchburg-Clay is excited to see what the season hold for him.
