Hillsboro senior golfer Kristin Jamieson signed her national letter of intent to play for the Ohio State University women’s golf team on Tuesday, November 20, at Hillsboro High School with a host of family and friends in attendance.

Jamieson recently wrapped up her high school golf career at the OHSAA state golf tournament on the OSU Cray Course in Columbus where she finished sixth in Division I.

In 2018 Jamieson played on the boys team in Frontier Athletic Conference play, due to insufficient numbers to form a girls golf team, and earned Player of the Year honors and averaged a score of 37.6 in FAC play.

The Lady Indians star is a three time OHSAA state tournament participant with consecutive appearances as a sophomore, junior and senior.

Jamieson also led her teams to four consecutive conference titles, two in the South Central Ohio League as a member of the girls golf team and one in the FAC as a member of the 2017 Lady Indians team and a second in the FAC in 2018 as a member of the boys golf team.

Kristin had an exceptional career for Hillsboro and was named conference and district player of the year in all four of her varsity seasons.

The lady linkster was a sectional champion her junior and senior years and won the district title as a senior on her way to the state tournament.

Jamieson also earned second team All-Ohio honors and was selected as a member of the 2018 Academic All-Ohio team.

She achieved another goal that she set for her high school career and was honored when she received the Don McKenzie Award for the highest academic senior female.
