Mustangs host the Indians

The Hillsboro Indians boys and girls soccer teams would travel to Lynchburg-Clay to take on the Mustangs Sept. 23.

The Lady Mustangs would play a tough county rival and come out victorious against the Lady Indians 3-2 and in boys soccer, Hillsboro would make two goals in the first half against Lynchburg-Clay and would win the the match 2-0.

Lady Indians Alexis Sheppard would score their two goals for the team.

Lady Mustangs three goals were scored by Karlie Tipton to seal the deal against Hillsboro.

Hillsboro Indians goals in the boys game were Titus Heiser and Logan Weber, and Landon Weber would get an assist.

Boys Soccer records for the Indians are 3-6-1 and the Mustangs are 6-3-1 for this season.

Lady Mustangs are 5-1-3, and the Lady Indians are 3-7-1 going into their next matchups.

Lynchburg-Clay will be at Peebles Sept. 25, and the Hillsboro Indians will be hosting the Washington CH Blue Lions Sept. 24.
