The Hillsboro Indians (1-6, 0-4) were on the road Friday night as they took on South Central Ohio League powerhouse Clinton-Massie (6-1, 4-0) who is also ranked 14th in Division IV in the state. Massie scored in all of their drives except the last one and the final of the game was 49-0.

The win is Massie’s 56th straight in league play, a streak that dates back nearly nine years.

Hillsboro’s best scoring chance Friday came after a 56-yard pass play to the CM 7 late in the second quarter. The Indians (1-6, 0-4) fumbled on the Falcons’ 6 and Massie recovered just before the intermission to squash the scoring threat.

The Indians will now be home next weekend against East Clinton. The game is also Hillsboro High School’s homecoming.
