Lady Indians off to good start

The Lady Indians golf team faced off against their cross county rivals McClain on Wednesday afternoon and came away with 200-267 win on their home course.

Kristin Jamieson was the medalist of the day for the Lady Indians with a 43. Hanna Breeden had a 52, Hannah Rumpke scored a 53, Delaney Murray a 63, and Kody Knoblauch came in with a 68.

For Greenfield, Veronica Olaker led her team with a 62, Bryn Karnes a 64, Chantl Landrum 69, Maddy Stegbauer 72, Elissa Grate 74, and Cassidy Willis with a 75.

On Thursday, August 6, the Lady Indians’ home opener, the hosted Wilmington for a league match and defeated the Hurricane 210-290.

Jamieson led the charge in this match as well with a 43, Hannah Rumpke a 50, Emily Loudin 58, Kody Knoblauch 59, Hanna Breeden 61, and Delaney Murray 63.

The Lady Indians will hit the road on Monday to travel to Miami Trace for a match set to start at 4:30. They will be back at home on Wednesday, August 19 when they host East Clinton.
