The top seven spots were earned at this meet by first man, Wyatt Evans who placed 5th overall in 17:39; second man, Matthew Mangus placed 8th in 17:44; third man, Trent Swisher placed 12th in 17:54; fourth man, Austin Setty placed 13th in 17:55; fifth man, Noah Richmond placed 20th in 18:18; sixth man, Andrew Davis placed 23rd in 18:21 and seventh man, Dillon Burley placed 24th in 18:27. We were excited about today’s performance, especially with the Highland County Fair school break being held this past week,” said Coach Friend. “It is a challenging week to have consistent attendance and practices. It was also good to see Wyatt Evans bounce back and have a solid race performance. Austin Setty also performed well being the second 9th grade overall finisher in the DIII race. We look forward to the boys, girls, and coaching staff working hard to improve over the next seven weeks for the Regional meet.”
