SCOL girls and boys golf championships

The South Central Ohio League girls golf tournament will be held Saturday, September 26 at the Hillsboro Elks starting at 9 a.m and the boys golf championship will start at the same time at the Chillicothe Country Club.

Volley for the Cure

On Thursday October 8, the Hillsboro High School volleyball teams will be hosting their annual “Volley for the Cure” game.

The Lady Indians will take on the McClain Tigers with the varsity game starting at 6:15 p.m. The event is taking place to show support for the fight against breast cancer as well as to spread awareness.

The HHS Business Co-Op class is helping organize the event by decorating, conducting raffles, holding games, and having a bake sale. They will be selling T-shirts before the game for $12, hoodies for $22, or both for $30.

There will also be a guest speaker for the night who will tell their story about their fight with breast cancer and how it has affected their life.

The goal is to raise $1,250 with all of the proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure. 100% of the money will come back to Highland County in the form of free mammogram vouchers.

Please come out and show your support for both the Lady Indians and Volley for the Cure.
