The McClain Tigers baseball team picked up a non-league win over the weekend as they defeated the Fairfield Lions 6-2.

Randall Mischal picked up the win for the Tigers going all seven innings. He allowed two runs, one of them earned, while striking out six and walking one batter.

The Tigers were able to put a two spot on the scoreboard in each of the first, second and fifth innings to bring them to their final total of six runs in the game. Fairfield was only able to get one run in the first and one in the fifth.

Next up for the McClain baseball team is a road game as they will take on Chillicothe on Wednesday, April 20.
