In the bottom of the third Thornburgh led off with her first of two triples followed by a double from Breeden and then another double from Snyder. They scored two runs in that inning to extend their lead to 3-1.
In the top of the fifth inning, the Lady Tigers scored their second and last run of the game to make it 3-2 but the Lady Indians answered in a big way in the bottom of the same inning scoring three runs to jump out to the 6-2 lead.
