The Hillsboro Post 129 Legion team’s season finally came to an end on Monday afternoon, after they lost their final game in the American Legion Region five tournament with a final score of 4-3 to Chillicothe Post 757.

The Hillsboro team lost their first game in the tournament but then won their first game in the losers bracket over Chillicothe Post 62 with a score of 12-4.

The Hillsboro post ends the season with a final record of 14-27.

Fall tryouts will be Sunday, August 28 at 2 p.m. at Shaffer Park.
