Amos graduates from basic training

Air Force Airman 1st Class Tyler D. Amos graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Amos is the son of Scott Amos of Hillsboro and Denise Jebbia-Zecca of Wheeling, W.Va.

The airman graduated in 2009 from Wheeling Central Catholic High School, Wheeling, W.Va., and he earned a bachelor’s degree in 2014 from West Virginia University, Morgantown, W.Va.
