The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

STATISTICS

The statistics for the week beginning Monday, April 16 through Sunday, April 22 are as follows: The police department received 491 calls (10 – 911), investigated seven crashes, took eight offense reports, made 35 arrests, and completed 272 security checks.

April 20

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Timothy Lee Kibler, 41, of Hillsboro, was arrested for resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

Toby Wallzs, 46, of Cincinnati, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.

April 21

Donte Captain, 23, of Hillsboro, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.

Ryan West, 27, of Hillsboro, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant, failure to comply with the order of police officer and possession of drugs.

Samuel Williams, 30, of Hillsboro, was arrested on two counts of endangering children and obstructing official business.

Ronald Ison, 36, of Hillsboro, was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Sean Smith, 39, of Hillsboro, was arrested for possession of marijuana, driving under suspension and expired tags.

Satish Patel, 46, of Hillsboro, was arrested on two counts of endangering children,

April 22

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Johnathon Zuniga, 27, of Hillsboro, was cited for disorderly conduct.

Bobby Brown, 18, of Hillsboro was cited for disorderly conduct.

Wesley Stratton, 24, of Winchester, was arrested for trafficking in drugs.

ACCIDENT

The police department investigated a crash on an access road in the 600 block of South High Street. Justin Robinson, 18, of Leesburg, was traveling east on the rear access road to Holtfield Station, located at 620 S. High St., when Robinson ran off the right side of the road, lost control, overturned and continued down into the embankment, leaving Robinson unable to exit the vehicle. The Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District was called to the scene to extricate the driver, who was uninjured. A 2002 Honda operated by Robinson received heavy damage.
