The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

April 23

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Tonya Pollock, 39, of Lynchburg, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.

Ryan Hauptman, 27, of Peebles, was arrested for unlawful attempt to purchase pseudoephedrine product.

David Armstrong, 22, of Wilmington, was cited for muffler-excessive smoke.

ACCIDENT

The police department investigated a three-car crash in the 800 block of North High Street. John Huston, 59, of Frankfort, was in northbound traffic near the intersection of Greenfield Pike when traffic came to a sudden stop. Huston was unable to stop in time and struck the vehicle ahead of him, operated by Nicole Hopkins, 34, of Hillsboro, pushing it into a third northbound vehicle operated by Daniel Kier, 57. of Hillsboro. No injuries were reported. Huston was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
