NCB promotes Hartley, Purvis, Leeth

National Cooperative Bank (NCB) has announced the promotion of Mary Alice Hartley to vice president and loan customer service manager, Anita Purvis to assistant vice president of deposit services, and Jocelyn Leeth to assistant branch manager of the Hillsboro main office.

Hartley joined NCB in May 2013, as assistant vice president and loan servicing manager. She brings over 14 years of experience to this role and continues to manage NCB’s loan servicing department and team.

“Mary Alice has excelled in her position, demonstrating excellent management and communication skills, job knowledge and customer service,” said Deb Jones, co-president, NCB Ohio. “She shows great diligence in her position and always finds the best solution to a problem.”

Purvis began her career with NCB in 2003, in the deposit operations department. She works with local and national customers to ensure their deposit needs are handled efficiently. In 2015, Purvis achieved her professional certification for national check professional. The NCP designation recognizes Purvis’ knowledge and comprehension of check payments, professional credibility, and demonstrates her commitment to customer service.

“Anita’s knowledge, professionalism, leadership and dedication to the bank make her worthy of this promotion,” said Freda Jones, assistant vice president of deposit services.

Leeth has over 12 years of banking and retail sales experience. She began her career at NCB in 2008, as a customer service representative. She was promoted to new account representative in 2011. In her new role, she will manage the main office teller operations and business development.

“Jocelyn’s team building skills and outstanding customer service make her perfect for this position,” said Jones. “This promotion will allow Jocelyn to continue to expand her skills and assist the branch in business development goals.”
