Summer reading at Lynchburg Library

0

We’re signing up kids who can read and kids who have someone reading to them, from age 0 and up. The children’s theme is On Your Mark, Get Set, Read. Signup starts now and goes through June and July.

Just keep track of reading on a reading record that we’ll give you when you register. Every two hours of reading earns your child a prize.

Our teen theme this year is Get in the Game – Read and our adult theme is Exercise Your Mind: Read. To participate, teens and adults simply fill out one entry form per book read this summer. This enters them in weekly prize drawings plus end of the program grand prize drawings.

The reading can be done at home, on vacation, under a picnic table, wherever you can get comfortable with a good book. It’s a great way to keep your kids reading over the summer.

Our kickoff program is Jim Kleefeld’s Sports and Fitness Magic Show, scheduled for Thursday, June 2 at 2 p.m. This is an interactive magic show for all ages. It’s free and you do not have to sign up in advance. We hope you’ll join us for a fun-filled summer at the Lynchburg Branch Library,

102 South Main St., Lynchburg, Ohio. Please give us a call at 937-364-2511.
