ODOT planning to widen Tolle Road

0

It is proposed to improve an 0.93-mile section of Tolle Road in Highland County by widening the existing pavement and correct substandard land and shoulder widths. The project area is situated between U.S. Route 50 and SR 138 in Liberty Township, and work includes 1,100 feet of full-depth pavement replacement, drainage and site distance improvements.

The project will require approximately 3.36 acres of permanent right of way and 0.36 acres of temporary right of way; however, no homes or businesses will be removed as a result. A contract is anticipated to be awarded in the summer of 2018, and closure of the roadway may be necessary to complete all or portions of the project.
