Hillsboro FFA members attend leadership camp

On June 23-26, eight members from the Hillsboro FFA Chapter attended the Ohio Leadership Camp at Camp Muskingum in Carrollton. The members were able to meet new friends from across Ohio and get to know the state officers. Members also attended six leadership sessions which helped them seek a vision to accomplish a goal to better their FFA chapter. All campers at OLC went through the Underground Railroad, which showed them exactly how slaves were treated around the time of 1850. The students now have a visual of what it was like to live in that time period. Throughout the last full day of camp, members participated in multiple water games and had an evening to enjoy time with their new friends. Pictured, from left, are Kirsten Harp, Jordan Williamson, Kennedi Claycomb, Lexey Hetzel, Grant Crum, Lana Grover, Brittany Rhoads and Taylor Chaney.
