The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

April 10

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Debra Williams, 66, of Columbus, was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

ACCIDENTS

A report was received of a crash on North High Street near Northview Drive. After an officer’s investigation, it was determined that a vehicle operated by Earl Davis, of Hillsboro, was stopped in traffic when a vehicle operated by Richard Dyer was unable to stop in time and struck the Davis vehicle causing minor damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.

A report was received of a crash in the 1400 block of North High Street. After an officer’s investigation, it was determined that a vehicle operated by Paige Anderson, of Greenfield, was stopped in traffic when a vehicle operated by Debra Williams, of Hillsboro, was unable to stop in time and struck the Anderson vehicle causing minor damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.

April 11

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

John Henderson Jr., 44, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.

Dru McGary, 32, of Hillsboro, was arrested for failure to appear.

ACCIDENT

A report was received of a crash in the intersection of South Street and High streets. After an officer’s investigation, it was determined that a vehicle operated by Jason Jones, 24, of Hillsboro, was travelling southbound on South High Street when a vehicle operated by John Henderson, 44, of Hillsboro, proceeded through the intersection and struck the Jones vehicle causing moderate damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.

April 12

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Phillip Vance, 53, of Hillsboro, was arrested for failure to appear.
