McClain FFA prepares for school year

0

Over the summer the McClain FFA Officer Team went on a leadership retreat where they planned the upcoming year, developed closer friendships, and thought up new ideas to help make this year the best yet.

The officer team discussed several of the year’s upcoming events and tried to think of ways they could improve the chapter even more by revamping some of the annual recreational events. They also constructed new personal, chapter and officer team goals for the school year.

While there were lengthy discussions to be had and several team-building workshops to be done, lots of fun was still had over the weekend. The officer team went on a three-hour canoeing adventure, hiked and had a cutthroat cornhole tournament. The officers not only enhanced their leadership skills, but made fun memories and had a great time.

The officer team looks forward to another exciting and successful year.
