The candidates and issues have been set on the ballot by the Highland County Board of Elections for the general election in Highland County on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
“We have over 2,000 absentee ballot requests to start going out,” said Highland County Board of Elections Director Michelle Swallen. “I think it will be steady.”
She predicted a large turnout because it is a presidential election year.

Swallen encouraged voters to follow the Highland County Board of Elections on Facebook and online for updated information.
