Each year the Hillsboro FFA Chapter participates in a job interview contest. The Ohio Job Interview CDE is designed for FFA members to practice and demonstrate the skills needed in seeking employment in all areas of agriculture. Each part of this event simulates real world experiences that students will need have when seeking employment in the future.

The Hillsboro FFA chapter held its annual Ag Day recently for the Hillsboro Elementary School fourth graders. The chapter had around 145 of its members help lead the classes and run the stations and activities for the students.

Fairfield FFA vists national convention

On Oct. 26 the Fairfield Local FFA Chapter arrived in Indianapolis for the 95th FFA National Convention. Upon arrival the members toured the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. On the tour they learned about how racers prepare for the race and old traditions that are one of a kind to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Adena to host Clinical Job Fair Nov. 16-17

Adena Health System is searching for new and experienced individuals with a passion for caring for others during its Clinical Job Fair next week. On-site interviews will be offered for a host of clinical positions including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient care associates, respiratory therapists, surgical technicians, phlebotomists and interventional radiology technicians. On-the-spot job offers available for some positions.
