The Greenfield Police Department has released the following information:
PVADAMH gets $120K to battle homelesssness
The Paint Valley ADAMH Board has been awarded $119,973.75 to enhance local efforts to connect homeless individuals in Highland, Fayette, Pike, Pickaway and Ross counties with mental health and substance use treatment services. The funding is part of $350,000 awarded across the state by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS), Office of Community Planning and Collaboration, Rural Outreach Program.
Annual county curfew starts Oct. 1
The annual countywide curfew will commence Saturday, Oct. 1 for all persons in Highland County under the age of 18.

The city of Hillsboro has issued a boil alert for North High Street from Te-Mar Way north to the city limits including Hobart Drive And Homestead Avenue.
Dayton woman charged in fatal hit-and-run
WILMINGTON — A Dayton woman has been arrested and charged in an Aug. 19 hit-and-run incident that killed 27-year-old Daniel Smith.
Riding for Save A Warrior

Gas prices fall following holiday
Gas prices have fallen off after the holiday last week but haven’t completely recovered from a big August climb, according to a news release and statistics from the American Automobile Association (AAA).
