The children were in the pew in front of me.

Those of you who know me know that I’m a bit of an obsessive Bluetooth earbud collector. On my desk alone I have nine sets and these are my favorites. The world of earbuds is full of hype and jargon, making it difficult to decide what to buy. This week I’m going to try to address Bluetooth earbuds and unravel that for you. And I’m going to do that by taking you through my wish list of the attributes that would make for my perfect earbuds. No, I don’t expect you to agree with me on each and every item. I’m showing you my list to give you an idea of some of the things you may wish to consider. I can’t do this in priority order because most of my priorities change based on available features.

Back in the early 1990s I was teaching seventh and eighth grade kids at a small schoolin Rainsboro. The school was out in the country, which will be relevant shortly. Anywho, since we’re getting close to Christmas I thought I’d retell the story.

OK, the stock market is up, inflation is weakening and employment is stabilizing, but our post-pandemic economy has been chaotic and troublesome for many… alright, maybe not the rich. But by troublesome, I mean troublesome and complicated for economists, bankers and corporations, and especially everyday workers. One thing is for sure; the wealth gap in America has grown larger. Inflation and prices have hurt the everyday worker a whole lot more than corporate chieftains and hedge-fund billionaires. To say that the circumstances are almost Dickensonian is nearly true.

I’ve written about this question before, but trending technology is significantly affecting the future of mankind, so I think it deserves repeated attention.

Last time I said I’d go over digital video recorders (DVRs) for streamers and Over-the-Air (OTA) folks if there was interest. Well, there was.

Before I begin, let me give a quick heads-up to all my young male readers out there: Women can be persuasive. They can be very convincing when they want something from you. They have special, secret ways that are apparently passed down from generation to generation, grandmothers to mothers to daughters. They cast spells. They are sorceresses and enchantresses of the highest order. Oh, and it also helps to not look them directly in the eye.
