Important dates for Dragon yearbook

Greenfield McClain’s annual staff stays busy year around preparing The Dragon to make it the best it can be. They have several important dates coming up to help the yearbook come together.

On Thursday, Nov. 17, Megan Bowles will be taking play cast and crew pictures for the upcoming play “The Miracle on 34th Street.” The play will be presented to the community on both Nov. 18 and 19. Sara Bennett will be taking pictures during the play.

Also on Thursday, Nov. 17, Lifetouch Portraits will conduct picture retakes beginning at 7 a.m. If students did not have their picture taken the first time, they should do so Thursday. Students do not have to buy a picture packet, but should still have their picture taken so that it can be in the yearbook.

Most importantly, on Nov. 22, Megan Bowles, Sara Bennett and Zach Perie will be taking activity pictures so that all clubs and organizations can be recognized in the Dragon.

The theme of this year’s Dragon is ‘Snap Dragon’ referencing the popular app Snapchat.

Joellen Gossett, the annual staff’s advisor, said that this year’s yearbook will feature pages such as “Snap Happy,” “How Do You Snap?,” “Snap to It” and “Snap Your Fingers, Do Your Step.”
