Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Highland County Highway Maintenance Facility have scheduled to replace a culvert at SR 138 and Stoney Point Road next week, requiring daytime closure of Stoney Point.

Beginning Monday, Dec. 5 and continuing through Friday, Dec. 9, Stoney Point Road will be closed at its junction with SR 138 during daytime, business hours. The closure will be in effect from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with the route open to evening and overnight travel.

The project site is located approximately three miles east of Hillsboro, and although SR 138 will remain open, traffic may be reduced to one lane and maintained by flaggers intermittently when crews are at work.
