The Fairfield FFA attended the 2017 young leaders conference on Feb 24. The students traveled to Columbus to attend this conference put on by Ohio State’s Alpha Gamma Rho and Sigma Alpha. They learned how to work through the hard times and not to say “I can’t”, and learned how to use social media to advertise a business and how it affects job applications. The students were shown how the owners of a business can look at a social profile and posts and determine what kind of a person you are outside of an interview. The students enjoyed this conference and look forward to attending it next year. Pictured are (back row, l-r) Lane Frost, Bri Flint, Conner Shoemaker, Bri Burleson, Rachel Schuler, Sherry Heckathorn, Holden Ferguson, Paige Tetters and Brayden Heizer (front row, l-r) Brayden Grooms, Justin Sowders, Dale Back, Teigan Thackston and Alexis Tompkins.
