Bainbridge funeral home expanding

0

William D. Ebright, president of Ebright Funeral Homes, announced that construction has begun on the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home in Bainbridge.

The project will add 2,770 square feet to the existing funeral home. The funeral home will add a new chapel, lounge, a designated smoking area, flower delivery room, and a new embalming room with an enclosed receiving area. The architect for the project has been Daniel Heckman of Pickerington, who also designed the addition that was added to the Ebright Funeral Home in Frankfort. The general contractor is DKR Builders, LTD of Groveport.

Smith-Moore-Ebright will continue to be able to serve families during the entire construction process. The new construction will be added to the back of the existing structure to allow for the funeral home to continue to operate.

The staff of the funeral home looks forward to offering a larger area and a more comfortable facility. By retaining most of the current structure, the funeral home will offer more of a home-like environment. The new chapel will include new video and audio technology to allow families more options when planning their family’s funeral service.

The Ebright Funeral Home’s and Matt Conley have been planning this addition for over five years. The funeral home has searched many different options to be able to provide a better facility for the families who place their trust in them. It looks forward to the completion of their new facility which should be completed within 60 days.
