HDH volunteers logged 15,159 hours last year

Highland District Hospital celebrated its volunteers with a banquet dinner and recognition service at the Hillsboro Pondo Banquet Center on April 26. In attendance were 33 volunteers, representatives from the Highland District Hospital board, including board president Barb Yochum, board vice president Larry Burns, and members Becky Miller and Bill Couch, along with members of the HDH Leadership Team. Leading the service was HDH President and CEO Randy Lennartz and volunteer Ccoordinator Winona Swayne. Highland District Hospital’s 58 volunteers logged 15,159 hours of service to the organization and community in 2016, which is the equivalent of 7.2 full-time employees. The dedication shown by each of these volunteers is truly an invaluable resource to the organization.
