The Times-Gazette’s Sharon Hughes was the emcee for the Ladies Day Out Fashion Show Catwalk For A Cause held Wednesday at the Highland County Senior Citizens Center in Hillsboro. She is pictured with Brenda Coleman, left, and Janice Mason, center, of Peebles Department Store in Hillsboro. Shown in the other photo is 4-year-old Addie Hoop, who served as one of the models with her sister, 6-year-old Aubree Hoop, and several center members. Sixty guests attended the first-time event that made $900 that will be used for operation of the center. “We really appreciate Peebles for the beautiful fashions. Brenda Coleman at Peebles did an amazing job and put together our models’ outfits for the runway,” said Senior Center Executive Director Mechell Frost. “I really appreciate all the vendors and guests who attended the event and supported the center. We hope they had as much fun as we did. Our models did so great. They looked beautiful and it was so neat to see them have so much fun on the runway. You looked wonderful, ladies.”
