St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, located on North High Street in Hillsboro, has announced that it is opening a new facility and a new preschool.

“The Academy Preschool is ready to serve God in every child who attends our five-day-a-week program,” said the Rev. Judi Wiley of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. ” We are most proud of the enrichment programs we are planning that will encourage your child to look deeper at God’s creation and explore the world around them with new discoveries in science, art, music, math and engineering feats, all done in the name of fun. Your child will be excited to come home and tell you what they have learned each day.”

Enrollment is now open.

Two open house possibilities for those interested are Thursday, Aug. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Bring your 3-, 4- or 5-year-old to meet Miss Mollie, the full-time teacher and see what is in store for them,” Wiley said.

The Academy Preschool is located at 234 N. High St., Hillsboro, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.

For registration information, or for answers to other questions, call the church office at 937-393-2043.

Classes start Monday, Sept. 11 at 9 a.m.
