Bell Gardens celebrates National Assisted Living Week

0

Next week, Bell Gardens Place, an Enlivant community, celebrates National Assisted Living Week (NALW) with a series of events, each offering innovative ways for seniors, their families and the professionals that support them to stay connected.

Grandparents Day: Sunday, Sept. 10 – Kicks off the weeklong celebration of NALW. Families, including children, grandchildren, friends and caregivers, are invited to join Bell Gardens Place for an ice cream social Sundae Sunday from 2-3 p.m. Come join the fun.

Hog Roast: Saturday, Sept.16 – The NALW festivities continue with a hog roast to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. Residents are invited with their families and friends to join the community for a hog roast from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will be an amazing opportunity for residents and their loved ones to connect with each other and the entire Bell Gardens Place family. David Wayne will be entertaining and we will also have raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

These are just two of the events that will be held at the community during NALW. All are open to the public. To RSVP and/or to find out more about the weeklong celebration, call Ida Hecht, community relations manager at Bell Gardens Place at 937-393-8830 before Sept. 10.
