Pet of the Week

The Highland County Humane Society Pet of the Week is Brutus, a 2-year-old neutered, male Pekingese. Brutus loves to play fetch with his tennis ball. When he picks the right person, he is always right by their side. He is a very good dog with older children, but not younger children, and likes women better than men. If you could give Brutus a good forever home or any of the other dogs or cats at the animal shelter a good home, contact the Humane Society at 9331 SR 124, Hillsboro. For more information call 937-393-2110. The shelter is opensix days a week from noon to 5 p.m. It is closed Wednesdays. The shelter still has lots of kittens up for adoption. The shelter still have openings at its next Rascal Unit on Wednesday, Sept. 20. The Rascal Unit is a discounted spay and neuter program for cats and dogs. Call the Humane Society for an appointment.
