Fairfield classes of 1961 and 1962 meet for monthly lunch

The Leesburg Fairfield School Class of 1961 and Friends Monthly Luncheon was held on Aug. 30 at Leesburg’s Cross Roads Diner. The Class of ‘61 welcomed the friendly class of ‘62, which came out in full force to visit. Everyone enjoyed the time together, reminiscing and updating on their life’s story.

The monthly luncheon idea was created by a 1961 class member Tom Campbell two years ago when he realized that at his age, it would be interesting to visit with classmates from schooldays. The luncheon has proved to be an event that is looked forward to each month by the former students.

The next luncheon is planned for Wednesday, Sept. 27th at the Cross Roads Diner 12:30 p.m.
