The SSCC Theatre Company will hold auditions for the reader’s theatre winter production of “Love, Loss, & What I Wore,” by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron.

Open to community members and students, auditions will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on the Southern State Community College Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.

A play of monologues and ensemble pieces about women, clothes and memories covering all the important subjects— mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses, and why we only wear black. Based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman, this production will feature an all-female cast.

Those interested in auditioning will be asked to cold read from the script. If you’re interested in auditioning, but unavailable to attend the audition date, contact Rainee Angles ([email protected]) to schedule an alternate audition date prior to Dec. 1.

“Love, Loss, & What I Wore,” directed by Bronwyn Jones, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17. For more information about auditions, visit www.sscctheatre.com.
