Community Chorus Holiday Concert Thursday at Hillsboro Methodist Church

The Highland County Community Chorus, under the direction of David White (left) will present A Holiday Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20 at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church. The concert will feature the masterwork “Gloria” by British composer John Rutter, for SATB choir, soloists, organ, brass octet and percussion. The concert will also feature the Hillsboro High School Symphonic Choir, also directed by White, and the Highland County Community Children’s Choir, under the direction of Kay Tyler and Laura Jacky. Tickets to the concert are $10 for adults (students are free) and may be purchased at the door. The church is located at 133 E. Walnut St. and is handicap accessible.
